I like any cut in taxes -- but step back -- the whole idea of stimulus is bone-headed in the first place. it can only make things worse. We don't want to stimulate consumption or the acquisition of more debt now -- This kind of stimulus is something we've had non-stop for years -- any more of it and the economy will be dead. Need to let the natural process of debt liquidation take place. It's just the price of the party -- you can't drink shots to cure a hangover. It just doesn't work ... We've got no problems here with consumptive demand, it's so strong as to be insane -- the problem is non-performing debt.
