Those who watched the speech were more likely to be Republican than Democratic, which is typical in polls of those who watch such speeches. Pollsters say that those who like a president are more likely to tune in.

So, which is it?


Reps. in overwhelming numbers.

The first sentence would tend to indicate that Democrats don't watch the president makes speeches, which would be consistent with my informal poll that tells me that Democrats aren't particularly knowledgeable about important events.

Or it tells you that many Dems are like me.....I watched American Idol and then read the transcript of his speech.
