Not to belabor the point, but I'm trying to understand which pattern you're looking at - and trying to figure out why that particular pattern.

I show 2 positive outside days (SPX) in April 02 that were preceded by a positive day, 4/5 and 4/15. Both were followed by a few days cumulative up move. Neither were trend changing, but they were followed by minor up moves. Both were at low stoch levels.

No one expects a good GDP number, nor do I think it will happen. If seeing the reality is as big a shock as it has been in the past, you may get your drop tomorrow, at which point I'll be looking for a short entry point. Won't be the first time I've been caught flat. But then, that is only lost opportunity - a lot easier to make up than a loss.

Of course, all this academic if there is no follow through - at least with a flat day - tomorrow.
