<Who is targeted and when has physical emotional and political considerations>

Yep. There's nothing like being on the receiving end to make terrorism unpopular. IRA donations dropped off after the 911 attacks. Partly, I guess, because some Irish American IRA sympathizing firefighter/s were ironically killed in the terrorist attacks. That would be fine karma indeed if it was the case.

Those on the receiving end of IRA terrorism could be forgiven for thinking that even the 911 attacks had a silver lining.

Welcome to the club. If only the urgency of confronting terrorist thugs had been realized BEFORE the horse bolted through the open cockpit door. Shutting the door afterwards is too late.

Now we are all on the same page on being anti-terrorist, we should be able to make good progress. We have made some already! With Saddam out of the way [and his sidekicks like the dreaded Uday], we should make quite a bit more progress.

What happens to him will be instructive to other like-minded exponents of cruelty, fear, thuggish civics and theft.
