I'll have to convince my girlfriend of that. Last time we were in NYC, it was so hot and muggy that the subway stations reeked of stuff that I'd rather not speculate on. But the trains themselves are alright; they're air-conditioned to an extent. And the fare is a lot cheaper than that of taxis, my girlfriend's preferred method of travel there.

In comparison, the subways in Seoul are much cleaner and more of a joy to ride in. Plus I just like the high-tech Asian atmosphere of it all. ;-)
