The administration was described last night in a program as having a central value of religious hubris. I think that does describe what is rotten at the core of this group. The term was not used in the context that they were arrogant about their religion, but that they insisted upon a quality of being absolutely certain about their actions based not on evidence, but on the certainty itself.
