Can a nation like this ever catch up to the civilized world? Of course it can.. over time and with education.. My goodness... look at some of the practices that our own ancestors engaged in less than 100-200 years ago.. Public hangings, Witch trials, "dunking", arranged marriages.. and all the superstitious cultural influences which have been introduced by every immigrant to this country.... All it takes is being able to control and educate one generation... away from their oppressive value system, and the problem essentially becomes socially extinct. Hawk
