<< People are people Robert... >>

But, each is genetically different.

<< Behaviors and beliefs are learned, not instinctive. >>

Nothing is absolute. Mankind evolved from apes. Some apes were more aggressive species than others. Some apes show emotions which could be interpretted as compassion. Other apes are violent and have no hesitation to take what they want from others.

People are born the same way.

<< Hatred is learned, >>

There are some genes that factor into chemistry that could result in the feeling of hatred. Each person has a mixture of many genes, some good, some bad, IMHO.

<< Love is instinctive (IMO). >>

There are different levels of the ability for love in each person, some learned, some instinctive (genetically induced). Once again, MHO.

<< Thus, I do not consider that there are "hordes" of terrorists in the middle east at this moment. >>

I hope that you are right. But, perhaps the difference between your estimate and mine, is opportunity.

<< We're undermining the long-established French presence in Iraq and Syria. >>

So...... we are stepping on their toes. Better for the US to step on their toes, than Saddam.
