***Now this isn't nearly as stupid as it sounds. In actual fact the forces of globalization have resulted in a rapid exodus of manufacturing for the maquilodora operations in Mexico, with the lost jobs ending up in slave-labor operations in China and the displaced Mexican workers ending up El Norte further depressing the wage scale in the good ol USA. Ain't free market globalization wonderful?
