You have a nerve to call Kerry a "weak liberal". He is a bona fide Silver Star, Bronze Star and triple Purple Heart winning combat war hero leader and is probably the most courageous, most tough and fearless man on the Hill. He has taken on special interests, the CIA, terrorism, the right-wing black ops organizations, Detroit, HMO's, polluters, and has resisted taking all the special interest money that corrupts most politicians and can make their lives and campaigns a lot "easier". Kerry took three bullets for us in Vietnam. You call him "weak"? So in your opinion, who is "strong"? Bush? Who inherited everything he ever got and went AWOL and deserted durintg the Vietnam War? When has Bush ever even risked a scraped knee in his life? And that goes for everyone else in the White House except Powell.

The problem is and has been all along precisely what Bush said before he was elected -- that without weapons inspections, we can't know what Saddam is doing. The problem with merely reinstalling the inspectors is that you can't have any consistency. Suppose another Democrat is elected president? John Kerry, for example. A year later, the inspectors are ejected, a weak liberal president fails to respond, and here we are again. Eventually, the nukes WILL get built. Then we have another NK. Its difficult to argue this point with you because you only see what you want to see. However, at the time of the Gulf War around ten years ago, a similar argument was made.....we were told that Saddam was on the verge of getting nukes. Why, then, didn't Bush Sr. take him outwhen he had the chance and no bs.....he definitely had the chance? Was he an example of a weak Conservative? ted EDIT. Understand, your original post makes no sense unless you either state that your fears are overstated or that Bush Sr. was a weak president........so don't come back with some cockimany bs.....its would have been alot easier for Bush Sr. to do the dirty deed than it is for Bush Jr.
