Yes Clinton inherited a lousy economy from Bush Sr. It's the economy, stupid. Remember? What are you challenging that for? Are you going to pull out some technicality like Bush did last night, that "the economy is growing"? Our economy sucks now. Why doesn't Bush admit it and tell the truth? If it grew a little statistically with 450 billion in military expenditure, fine, but it is a very bad economy now and not getting better no matter how many tax breaks he gives. Once real estate starts falling look out below. It's practically the only thing that's been propping us up thsi year. Real estate because of low interest rates. Low interest rates because of severe recessionary fears of the Fed.
