Kerry is not a Kennedy clone.

This allegation wasn't "made up".

newsday.com

"Take Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.), who already has announced he's seeking the nomination. In his coming-out interview with Tim Russert of NBC News, Kerry was positively tongue-tied when asked to defend a voting record that bears an unremarkable resemblance to that of the other Democratic senator from Massachusetts, Ted Kennedy. Why? Beats me."

Kerry is not a Kennedy clone

This is the reason I've said here numerous times that I fear John Kerry's candidacy. We all learned in '92 and again in '96 that a liberal will lie with impunity (it is a liberal characeristic, not an isolated occurrence).

John Kerry will lie through his teeth to get elected. Just like the American people were told, in '92, that they were seeing the "worst economy in 50 years", which was an out-and-out lie, they will be told the same lie now. And they will have it drilled into them by lying Democrats until they believe it.

One striking difference is that Kerry voted for war with Iraq (with UN approval)

Exactly. And I don't want another president who defers to the UN on major issues of national security. I want a leader, not a follower. Bush is a leader. He doesn't need the UN to tell him that war with Iraq is righteous.

After 8 years of selling out our interests to everyone from China to Marc Rich, I want integrity, competence, leadership. You can't get these from John Kerry.
