JPM JP Morgan Chase CEO faces make-or-break 2003 - WSJ (23.50)
The Wall Street Journal's "Heard on the Street" column says that JPM's latest "shock," the $1.3 bln Q4 charge, was enough to provoke frustration and a spirited debate at the co's Dec board meeting. In the end, the board approved the charge, but the tensions in Dec and the string of recent unpleasant surprises could be seen as a turning point for Mr Harrison if more trouble surfaces in the months ahead.

in reviewing my database this post came to mind...

one thing that occurred to me was that we were still in wave 1 off the ABC corrective rally. initially i was thinking that wave 1 was already complete and the last 2 days represented wave 2. i'm more inclined to think we haven't even entered the next wave and we are still going down in wave 1.

the 1969-70 scenario would fall in line with this IF the correlation remains intact.

am beginning to think that a vix of 50 and a higher 10 DMA P/C ratio would correlate with the completion of the first wave.
