Wearable Computing We used Xybernaut wearable computers to develop a prototype web-centric Aviation Maintenance System for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The system was used to deliver web content across a 2.4Ghz wireless LAN, including full-duplex video from Microsoft's NetMeeting. Operators could use the system hands-off, with voice-activated controls from IBM's Via Voice voice recognition software -- a nice feature when your hands are covered with grease! c-sw.com
