Yes, that's right. Even if Schröder thinks the USA are wrong to invade Iraq he should have kept a lower profile. I guess his opposition could have been more effective in diplomacy behind closed doors. His outspoken stance only provokes unnecessary trans-Atlantic tension. German managers are reporting a more difficult climate in the USA. Funny - Germany and France with their 140 million citizens draw all the anger upon them. China, a UNSC member with veto right, nearly ten times the population and just as hesitant towards Iraq, is rarely talked about.
