Lawmakers voted by 287 votes in favor of the resolution and 209 against with 26 abstentions, as their governments wrangled over how far to support President Bush's tough line toward Baghdad.

Hmmm… So, it was a split vote, not a unanimous one. So many people would have us believe that we are totally solo out there, alone against the entire world’s opinion. Yet, there is plenty of evidence that this is not the case. It looks like the Administration people are right – we may get more support than many expect.
