We agree on some -- Disagree on others -- I believe that ALL the Bible is given by inspiration of God and is perfect. Our changes/ modifications/ interpretations -- are not. I'm not smart enough to KNOW the original specific meaning of all things there, but by faith believe Jesus died for me, rose from the dead and now is alive. Things like "thou shalt not kill" confused me till I learned that the original language meant "murder" not "kill". Today there is still much that I misunderstand --- But NOT His Love. "As long as there are men on Earth, there will be no peace. Peace is not an element of human nature. Humans are as bestial as any other animal on Earth. Sad, but true" I agree, IF you make the distinction between "Christ centered Christians" and "unbelievers" or those that use church on Sunday as a strictly social activity. And of course there are "Christ Centered Christians" (like me) that are FAR from finished with their attempts to be more like Christ. Till then we're just "pains in the neck" --- But CARING "pains in the neck". But -- someday He WILL return. THEN there will be Peace on earth.
