Bush finally admits we need to get off oil using hydrogen technology. But I'll wait to see if he's serious. He talks the talk when he wants his polls to go up, but will he walk the walk? Very doubtful given his anti-environmental pro-oil lobby record. For one thing, he recently killed the Kerry-McCain fuel efficiency bill. That would save more each year than could be found in all our wilderness and wildlife refuses combined. I say keep the wilderness wild for future generations. The oil industry has a dismal record when it comes to leaving small footprints. They talk the talk but dont walk the walk too. Once they're in ANWAR and other places they just do whatever they please, and Bush is trying to take away citizens groups rights to sue them. It's all a big fix, don't you see. A mirage of caring, but a blunt reality of exploiting and polluting.

The Dems want to be the party for both soccer moms, who love and demand SUVs, and environmentalists who despise SUVs.

If the Religious Right don't like SUV's......haven't you seen their commercials?
