American Spirit,

re:Bush calls it the "death tax" but that's a misnomer. It's actually the "billionaire family estate protection cut".

It's ok to post your opinion, but the death tax affects a lot more people than just billionaires. Try to make a point by supporting it with some facts.

If I own a farm and die, why should my widow have 90 days to give more than half of it to you and your buddies?

Steve

No fuzzy math with Kerry.

It is a damned lie.

You can't make a tiny cut in payroll taxes and pay for with death taxes. Just can't do it. There aren't enough billionaires.

Bush calls it the "death tax" but that's a misnomer

Don't tell me. I've had to face too many families and explain to them why their parents' accumulated wealth was being confiscated by the government. There aren't billionaires. It is a sick, sick tax and Bush has done a great thing by eliminating it. Now if we can just make it permanent.
