So what is this "moon pie"? The south end of a northbound jackass? Hehe. Not quite. A Moon Pie is something like two large cheap wafers smothered in cheap chocolate (or other flavored sugary coatings), with a marshmallow filling. I've tried them once or maybe twice, I think. Perhaps they are an acquired taste, but I didn't get into them at all. Very BIG in the deep South. I don't know if they are still that popular there, but a Moon Pie with an "AH CEE" cola is like a Southern tradition. The "French Victory" image is so dang true it almost ain' even funny. Almost.
