Does that mean Nixon was a liberal?

No. But by the time he became president his domestic agenda was hardly conservative, with things like wage and price controls and increase in affirmitive action and government spending and other ideas conservatives dislike.


So does that mean conservatives were happy when he was relieved of his duties?
