Good points erik. Let me say this: as long as there are still corporations that have the CEO also having the title of Chairman of the Board, average investors have NOT been heard. I mean think about this for a second, could there be a more blatant example of conflict of independence. it flies in the face of the main purpose of a Board to begin with. yet it continues in many firms. A pessimist might even say that regardless of titles, it is a moot point given most boards are in the pockets of mngmnt. But hey I like to look at the bright side of things LOL RO
