Kerry is for taking out Saddam through the UN process with as many allies as possible. He is also highly suspicious of Bush's motives and timing. For good reason. Read Kerry's speeches and you'll see he cares deeply about neutralizing Saddam.

Kerry has distanced himself from Kennedy recently voting with Bush on Iraq

Kerry's voting with Bush had NOTHING to do with distancing himself from his liberal record and had EVERYTHING to do with the fear of what would happen if he DIDN'T vote to support Bush. Bush was immensely popular at the time, and Kerry knew damned well he'd have a tough time answering for the vote when running for president.

Oh stop running down the Kennedy's.....they've served this country well. Just cause you a little behind the rest of the world does not mean their policies are a "disaster". And if you are in doubt, O Wise One, just take a look at the state the Kennedys herald from......MASS., a state that was pivotal in the founding of this country and one today that has world class universities, hospitals and technology, infrastructure the Kennedys played a key role in developing.

Personally, I don't think you're in such a great position to pass judgment.
