While no one is perfect, I attempt to be civil. Certainly, there are those on both sides of the debate who sometimes carry a big stick more often than is necessary. There about a half a dozen ladies that post regularly here that make no secret of their gender. While apologies are not common place, periodically they are made by both liberals and conservatives. You are to be commended for your own effort to make amends. I hold no grudges for anyone and though the political views of the people here may differ significantly, most of us are Americans who love our country very much. Have a Great Evening, Josh * * *

IMO there are those who are mostly on the right who use name calling and belittlement as a form of intimidation to shut up their opponents. I was going to say you must be new around here, but your profile says you've been here since '97. Come now. There are liberals who can sling mud with the best of us. There is one who is known as the GFY Girl. She had that on her profile for quite a while. Throws it around quite a bit. marcos is an interesting case. He likes to use Spanish swear words, being certain we gringos will not understand. What he does not understand is that I grew up close to the Mexican border and am fluent in Spanish swearing. Now don't tell him that, because I never have. I'd like to suggest that what you are illustrating is what was popularly called The Effect Of Motivation On Perception on the old Boxing Ring thread. You want to see conservatives as nasty, dirty guys, so you take notice of those who are, discount those who are not, and also discount the liberals who are. Oh. Ish is a gentleman and a good guy. At least in my experience. If you wish to tell me to GFM for saying that, feel free. I dont remember a RWE doing that, that I can remember. (even when there is a good reason to) Well, meet one who has. Several times.
