Agreed on all counts. I believe, as Eric Hoffer once more or less said, that you meet vicious behavior with vicious behavior. That violent people don't understand rational behavior or debate. People like this need to be nipped in the bud. Unfortunately, this guy is on the verge of blooming. Had we stuck to our principles in the Gulf War, as opposed to pressure from Arab states, this would not be a problem today. I don't believe Bush is "avenging" his dad's legacy, nor do I think it is payback in any sense. This is just good, common sense. As for ORCL, I think we could see another dip from here as broader markets make new lows today, but it has held up well in the declining market. Should the broader markets rally, which I expect to occur soon and take us to about 8800, ORCL could easily touch 15, possibly 17.
