If Bush were successful I wouldn't be complaining. But right now I see almost no way to raise money, take advantage of low interests rates (tight liquidity) or get a better paying job. Instead, I see deflation, horrendous risks in the markets (glad I sold my AOL at $17) and a debt coming which will undermine our country. I also see us being more unpopular in the world than ever, utterly squandering the goodwill and sympathy we had around the world after 9-11. After 9-11 we had the world 70% pro-American. Now it's 70% anti-American (my guesses). And I see our environment under daily attack from the exploiters and polluters who have been given free rein despite Bush's phoyn environmental rhetoric. What happened? GW Bush-Cheney did. Sorry, but he's a really damaging president. The only thing he's done right so far was Afghanistan, but even there we didn't get our man. You may like him personally and agree with him in principal but the proof is in the pudding. Where are we now? At a very low point in American history. And you cannot blame it on Osama. The only thing I will give Bush is that he's the slickest politician we're ever seen. Slicker than Clinton and Reagan combined. And that incvludes the Teflon coating. SO far at least. But I say this emperor has no clothes. Watch and see.
