Their rhetoric, their positions, and their political strategy over the last two years indicate that the faction controlling the party's propaganda machine are, at best, apathetic about the murder of thousands of Americans on 91101. There are many in that faction who nostalgically remember their passion for seeing an American debacle in a hasty retreat from Vietnam, and still resent Nixon for stealing that away from them. Their life-long hate for America has destroyed any compunction about Americans being killed either domestically or globally. Their public denial of that feeling is driven entirely by their fear of the political costs should their attitude become widely known by the voters they are constantly trying to defraud. Their obsession is the reduction or elimination of American power and influence in the world, as a prerequisite to their perverted view of what our world should become. That, by any reasonable definition, is treason, and should eliminate them from any consideration by voters for participation in political power. The trend toward that understanding in the nation continues, and continues to grow. Sunlight is beginning to disinfect the American left...
