Hi rts,
This is just another data point which reinforces my position that too many are way too bullish. The mantra for the past 5 quarters has been "it will get better in a one or two more quarters". So far, this hasn't been the case for SCE companies.

If war is going to break out, my guess would be that it will happen around the next new moon or March 1st, plus or minus 2 days. This cloud will linger over the world and the markets for another month, imo.

RtS and all who have wondered about Don W., he's well and out of the market - looking for a new house. He won't be posting for the foreseeable future. [via e-mail]

RtS, chart with vix/bpcompq updated home.attbi.com

In hindsight I see that failure of bpcompq to exceed 50% should have been taken as a sell signal.
