The US expects people to leave their culture behind - the melting pot. << what a crock! people in this country put up water fountains so it's easier to cross the desert and break into the country. then we help you out by giving you a driver's license, free medical services, breaks on college tuition, welfare, etc. we will provide interpreters, ballots in your native tongue, special esl training in school, etc. we don't ask immigrants to melt into our pot. we go out and buy them their very own pot they can call their own!
