Who's really Biggs? 10:44 (Dow Jones) Has Barton Biggs already left Morgan Stanley and been
replaced by someone writing under his name? Just a question given Biggs' latest
research note, where the one-time major bear waxes rhapsodic about the
potential of the stock market and the U.S. Biggs does stop short of apple pie,
but not by much, saying, "Under conceivable and not totally far-fetched
circumstances, the US economy could take off in the second and third quarters.

Real GDP growth could be 5% or more (it was 0.7% in the first quarter) as the
dam breaks on capital spending, restocking inventories and hiring as the
massive fiscal and monetary stimulus that has already been unleashed takes
hold." Wow. Investors in the hedge fund he is leaving Morgan to start can
probably expect it to contain stocks, stocks and more stocks. (KJT)
