Thanks for the pros and cons. What I decided to do is to place an account directly with rydex. They only accept 50k max in online applications so with the rest Im switching it over to ameritrade.I probably should have done that a while back since rydex doesnt charge for trades.Ive been paying datek 17.99 for each trade into rydex.

I wonder if we could revisit the differences that still exist between the Datek and Ameritrade accounts.

To me it seems like the only remaining differences is that Ameritrade allows "all or none" and "fill or kill" while Datek does not.

I'm not sure about the Extended Trading hours.

How tough is it to transfer from Datek to Ameritrade? Would I lose trading days? How quick is it? Any disadvantage?

How long before they became one and the same?

Thanks
