John, since you're on the topic, what I've noticed over the years on SI is threads degenerate when the posts get very short. One of the reasons I enjoy reading this thread so much is because so many intelligent people take the time to post long thoughtful opinions, positions, research, etc. Frank's post yesterday was an outstanding example. As many of yours have been in the past. Although we don't agree often, you're an excellent writer and I appreciate reading your views.
