He can say his opinion just like the next guy, right?

When he's no longer in that position... Do you go and get involved in volunteering your opinions regarding business decisions that involve your your boss's and/or client's, business dealings when they are not asked for?? Do you get out there on the news and state it??

I hope you get my point. Blix is out of line in making any policy recommendation, if not officially requested. He inspects, he reports, and the politicians decide how to form policy based upon the information he provides.

This is like a detective getting out there on the evening news and discussing whether the subject of his investigation should be indicted or not, a role normally reserved for the prosecutor's office.

You know that is not true.

I do?? What I know Zonder is that the UN inspectors have p*ssed away the past 2 months inspecting sites they have ALREADY inspected and therefore, can assume are clear of WMDs. What they HAVE NOT DONE is inspect any of Saddam's presidential palaces... They paid a one hour visit to one of them and then left. But they have NOT spent any "quality" time there..

And I have to ask you why you don't find that rather suspicious?? Why spare these presidential palaces from the IMMEDIATE scrutiny of the UN inspectors??

Are they afraid that they will find that "smoking gun" they are trying to avoid finding??
