Rollcast,
Some believe Bush to be evil. Some believe him to be dumb. How do we have a meaningful dialogue here if folks base their views on either one or the other or both? I will give those folks this--Republicans did a good job of demonizing clinton. I really do wonder how this thread would line up if Gore was president now and the policy toward iraq was similar? Mike

Oh, sorry, should have expanded that comment. I completely believe that both belief structures are not only capable of being there at the same time but, in this case, would not be the least surprised if they were.

I also think that's the way most politicians operate. I simply prefer mine with a bit more irony. In addition, to a long list of policy preferences with which I won't bore you.
