I think it is human nature to want to live in a free society and not be worried that you could be executed on
the whims of a dictator. I agree with Bill that the cost of
no war in Iraq will be too high for the US/world.

the people loyal to bin laden were loyal out of ideological and religious fervor. I dont think Saddam can claim any such devotion, that's why he needs borders and secret police. People in Iraq are ruled by fear, not religious fervor.
