C2,
I actually voted for Gore and one of the reasons that i did was that i felt bush to be too disinterested in foreign affairs. Hell for a patrician never really to have travelled was disturbing. Any rich guy who didnt get to paris as a kid.......
Anyhow Gore was an internationalist and i feared Bush turning into somewhat of an isolationist. Some of the objections to pre-9/11 foreign policy indicates some here felt the same way. Everything changed on 9/11. Bush morphed into FDR and the democrats into Bob Taft(joke). Mike
