lj - we are pretty much tied with the Saudi problem in Europe. Not the oil one: we have the North Sea and the Russian on the pipes, so Saudis are marginal. Well, not so marginal, as if Saudi oil rises, all oil markets rise. Wahabits controlled Imams are the thread, as they move from one mosk/country to the other with fake IDs. Another thread is in a message from bin Laden, don't bothered to save the like, but, in essence, was a thread to 5 named countries: Britain, France, Italy, Germany (forgot the 5th one). So, I would not expect a US based pre-emptive retaliation. Next would be in Europe, IMHO. Easyier targets here.(bin Laden aims the interests, not the people. A perfect target for his movement would be London Bridge, or the Eifel Tower. To the limit, it becomes even doubtfull he was behind 911). Hence, I don't understand the strategy of the US current admin (you bet! I have a clear image <ng>). In any case, IMVHO, any move in the ME will start the dominos falling. Which will result in an unsafer world. When is the next shuttle to Mars departing? <ng> The only way to cool things down, IMVHO, is the DOA proposition of Belgium: leave SH in place, lift the sanctions, but, first of all, allow multi-partism leading to democratic elections. DOA, coz it would take more than a year, too long for the current gang to be re-elected. Maybe I would join the gang in the crowdy salt mine after buying some UDI.
