remember that some of those companies were Micron, in which intel pocketed 3.5 Billion (??), Rambus which if you have been following is doing well. And I do not know the current relationship with INTC.

and those companies that I can never remember the names of that were the software and hardware for voice digisomething, level one, which cost less that the head hunter fees that it would have taken to get the employees.

Those companies whose very investment by intel, was sufficient to boost the price of the stock to equal Intc's investment. But generally speaking intel paid the price.
