re:Under (b) terrorism will increase in the US, according to the CIA

We're the great Satan, it doesn't matter.

I'm for b), which of course is Saddams choice

You've said two amazing things here:

1) "it doesn't matter". I'd say that was not exactly the sentiment of other Americans. In fact, try saying that in a public forum. Dismissing us as the "Great Satan" to dismiss deaths of fellow Americans doesn't do much for any argument.

2) "Saddams choice". Clearly the Americans are pushing the buttons that cause deaths of thousands or hundreds of thousands of civilians and soldiers. The question is: does this slaughter increase security or decrease it? If inspections are working to prevent any nuclear program from proceeding, as has been stated, and even occupation won't prevent bio/chem programs of some sort, you come to the conclusion that the slaughter doesn't help.

If you consider the CIA reports, increased mass violence increases recruitment of suicide terrorists around the world and here in the US, there is only one conclusion -- do the inspections, avoid mass destruction of Iraq, concentrate on the real terrorists, not obsolete WWII-type massive retaliations, they don't work anymore.
