If they could, they would. OR if they could and they didn't, they showed admirable restraint. At any rate, Iraq is a ridiculous country to be worried about, imo. Many other countries who hate us just as much have WMD's. The threat never comes from the expected place. I predict that when whatever happens in the future, happens, it will come from another source. I wish we were paying more attention to South and Central America. But of course the attention of the US is all backwards looking. We are always fighting the last war.
