That very speculative comment, assumes two things:

1) 1 million shiites will take revenge after Saddam is removed from power....That is a wide open declaration. On whom will they take their revenge?

Iraq is not like the USA. When Saddam and Lieutenants are gone...It is a fresh start. There is a cultural perspective problem here. Saddam makes statements about cutting off the head of the USA. The USA is not a military dictatorship. You can't destroy it by bombing Washington or Assassinating our leader...Guess what? It will destroy the govt. of Iraq when you remove Saddam and his lieutenants. The region (known as Iraq) will have the oppertunity to start from scratch and there will be no specific target for the Shiites. In fact it is likely that they will be invited, along with Kurds, to form a coalition democratically designed government.

2) We will be forced into some sort of unforseen and unmanageable military crisis.

George Bush has already calculated the future and bravely announced, that our country will do everything we can to help.
