Watching the press conference was fascinating in how blair and bush both evaded that there is some negotiating tension between them.
My read Blair, under tremendous pressure at home stated his wish that there be a 2nd U.N.resolution and Bush said maybe, if you can get it done fast but it is not changing his "weeks NOT months" ultimatum.
Bush said Tony B agrees with him weeks not months and Tony B, did NOT say liar, liar--which i surmise means Blair is in accord but praying there can be a 2nd U.N. resolution.
Third observation, makes me wonder how England and Italy are catching cells in a close to attack mode and we haven't.
One, is our country just too big and sieve like to succeed at such security successes or that that there are no terrorist lying in wait in the U.S?
Going on AN ODDS projection only basis, they likely are here and lying in wait. We are a huge country relative to England and Italy, and, per testing, we know we are "sieve" like.
i live in the state with the biggest coast line in the U.S., over 3,000 miles of coast line, 3 times that of California, and lobster boats(that is lobster boats visually but not in reality) could be used as ferrying devices with almost zero probability of being caught. The Coast Guard is so undermanned they have very little chance of "see and stop".Max
