The region (known as Iraq) will have the oppertunity to start from scratch and there will be no specific target for the Shiites. In fact it is likely that they will be invited, along with Kurds, to form a coalition democratically-designed government. Just like in Afghanistan, I guess! Obviously you have zero knowledge of tribal and ethnic rivalries and how long some of those tensions have lasted -- literally thousands of years. In fact, many of the major hotspots in the Middle-East have histories dating back to Biblical times.
