The United States has reportedly asked Turkey for permission
to base 80,000 soldiers in the country to open a northern front
against Iraq. Turkish officials have asked Washington to scale back
its request. Newspapers have speculated that Turkey could agree
to the stationing of up to 20,000 U.S. troops.

well that seals the fate of Saddam , he is squashed .

Saddam's time running out & now can be measured in a score of days ... the democratic republic of Iraq is about ready to
be born and the sanctions and suffering of the Iraqis lifted at last . And a protected settlement for the Kurds
as well, and the Marsh Arabs.

It will be interesting to see where this worm runs , if he chooses to run. But his fate is completely sealed now .
Probably cost us quater of a $million per man , but worth it in terms how swift this will go down now .
