And blaming it on brainpower.....that's just an excuse to explain away your frustration. Liberals are intellectually weak. You can't understand obvious facts and draw obvious conclusions. You haven't the slightest analytical capability; if you did, you could figure some of this stuff out that conservatives try to tell you. I know other conservatives on the thread won't say it, hell, they may not even believe it, but they're much nicer people than I am anyway. In different facets of my career, I've worked with numerous highly intelligent people. I can't remember even one of them who was both (a) grown up and (b) liberal.

That's because a liberal figures if you, the conservative, is freaked out by Iraq, than you have to be doubly freaked out by NK, and therefore, react even more strongly militarily. So when you don't react more strongly, to a liberal, it makes the brouhaha over Iraq look like a sham. Its simple. It is too late to stop NK from getting nukes. Also NK would be more difficult and less justified. With Iraq you have the cease fire violations and other treaty violations plus the fact that Iraq is in position to threaten much of the world's oil supply. You have to weigh the risks vs. the benefits. A war in Korea would be a lot more risky, it has nukes, it has a bigger army which we think would fight at least a little better, and there is at least a small chance of it getting support from China if we invade. Plus the purpose in Iraq (stopping Iraq from getting nukes) doesn't apply. Its too late, we blew out chance in NK. The current danger from NK is bad enough to show that we don't want it replicated elsewhere. Tim
