If we are going to talk about Cote d'Ivoire, maybe we should both do a bit of research on the subject. You say you don't know much about it, and what little I know is from the French media. All I can safely say at this point is that the French are trying to get the sides to agree on some sort of an agreement, and they are pulling their citizens out of the country in the meanwhile. They are not trying for regime change, they are not fighting the rebels or the state, and they are certainly not trying to seize the country's natural resources.
