I have almost never heard any Limbaugh caller disagreeing with him. But I would have loved to hear the caller who got through, and brought up Limbaugh's "boil in the butt" excuse for avoiding the Vietnam war. Of course, Limbaugh is in the august company of other Chicken Hawks like Cheney, Bush, Lott, DeLay et al.

But it's only fair when 90% of the radio talkshows now are strictly right of center and allow few debates.

What's fair in a free society is what most people are interested in listening to. Typically, when one listens to someone like Donohue, they are compelled to ask "Where is the meat"?

usually use the kill switch as soon as they start losing the debate

Certainly do. It would be interesting to see where the chain of command goes when that happens.

Here's one source - "Into the Buzzsaw", a good book with 18 award-winning journalists who give accounts of how their controversial stories got squashed.
