I wish it didn't take a tragedy like seven families/two countries, and thousands and thousands of "not-yet-met friends experienced today, to make us all forget our differences and as a group, offer heartfelt condolences and prayers for those most directly touched.

Even our most radical "politically correct" groups don't complain about talk of God and of prayers of support. How come we think it's OK when they take the same God out of our public schools.

On our other discussion, you say .... "I feel sure He has some chagrin (I'd say heartache) that so many people of today's world have spurned Him, but in the end, His way will prevail".

I agree with you!!

On the 2nd Coming of our Lord -- don't most of them think His coming was an "in each of us" thing?? My Bible says His feet will touch down on the Mount of Olives and I'm sure we would have heard a little more about it if it had really happened. When it finally does happen and we see it on Fox news (:-), somehow I think there'll be a few more headlines.

By the way, expressing ourselves is affected a lot by the one we are expressing too --
