I don't have 10 year charts on XAU in my present charting program...But I think I figured topside on bullion before this is over of 540 POG...So your XAU topside of 140 sounds very doable at those levels... Ok, here is what I feel is happening in the bullion markets...We all know about the divergence in POG vs. the stocks....Basically what the stocks are saying is this, "As soon as the U.S. attacks and destroys IRAQ, the gold price will zoom downward, since the U.S. always conquers its opposition, so why should the gold stocks follow the piper when they know how the song will be played"....Thus we have hedge funds going long bullion and shorting any gold stock they can get their hands on... However, I think this arrogant attitude will be humbled, and the gold stocks will EXPLODE upward as the conflict in Iraq does not turn out to be a cake walk......I think Saddam will successfully blow up his oil fields, and put the oil markets into turmoil....The hedge funds who have been shorting gold stocks will be forced to cover ahead of schedule, sending some gold stocks up 30-50% in short order...Example: I expect NEM to be trading at 40.00 a share within 6 months... Finally, who do you think will be involved in cleaning up the mess we make in IRAQ, to the tune of 60 billion dollars...That's right, the U.S....Do you really think the U.S. dollar will ZOOM upward with all this new check writing we keep on doing.... I have a Swiss Bank account and am glad that I do.......My Swiss dollars are going to appreciate nicely the next several years... Regards, Mark
