it should have been a clue when,
during the campaign he was caught
on a live mic (that he was unaware
of) talking about a reporter in the
audience.

Yeah but how do you know if the reporter dude really was
not an asshole.

He very well might have been.

He might have been one of those annoying fuggers with his
pants hiked up too high, food stains on his shirt, and an
all around obnoxious type of personality.

<Clappy pushes away the mirror after finishing that
description and attempts to write some more stuff.>

Uhhh.

Ya know what I'm sayin'?

Sometimes there just are people who rub everybody that way.

<Clappy's mirror clears it's throat a couple of times to
try to get his attention...>

here is a boat for you.

Hatfield's boat -- "the safest boat in the world" -- is an impressive example of a single-handed craft.

It boasts 1,700 square feet of sail, a double rudder, two daggerboards, and a canting keel that can be angled to one side or the other in heavy winds. Extending the keel to a 35-degree angle is the equivalent of having 16 sailors hiking out on the rail. Extending it to 45 degrees will roll the boat back upright if it flips.

click on the feature story - around the
world alone.

theglobeandmail.com

there was a great picture of the boat in
the newspaper - i'll try and scan it and
post it.
